Recently, someone commented on my blog saying that a product called "Silver" from the company Genesis Pure has cured her of BV in two days. I'm a little skeptical of this claim as two days is quite fast, however anything is possible, and I did notice a very quick change myself with my first combination attempt at Metro gel and acidophilus pills.
So my question for you all is: Has anyone tried this product?? Have you had good results? Please share your experience in the comments below, if so!

I BOUGHT PROVA CARE , CHECK IT OUT. I HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUES FOR OVER A YEAR. SMELLY VAG ITCHY , RED AND NOTHING CURES. I TRIED PEROXIDE WATER MIXTURE, IM SURE IT WORKS JUST LIKE THE METRO. SO I RESEARCHED PROVA CARE, THEY SAY TO TAKE IT WITH THE PILLS AT SAME TIME ON THE SITE. IM CONCERNED THAT THE METRO WOULD KILL THE GOOD BACTERIA IN THE VAG FROM THE PROVACARE, IT WOULD THEN BE A WASTE. DO YOU KNOW IF I SHOULD TAKE THE PROVACARE AFTER THE RUN OF METRO?
ReplyDeleteALSO I HAVE TRIED A VITAMIN C TABLET INSERTED INTO MY VAGINE. THAT BURNED LIKE HELL... AND DIDNT WORK. I THINK PROVACARE WOULD BE BEST BET. IT MAKES SENSE THEY CREATED A PILL WITH THE PROPER BACTERIA YOU NEED FOR HEALTHY FLORA, INSERTED 1 OR 2 TIMES DAILY DEPENING IF YOU ARE KEEPING UP W THE FLORS, OR TREATING BV OR EVEN YEAST INFECTION AND TAKING ANTI BIO-TICS .. BUT, MY QUESTION IS IS THAT TRUE? WOULD IT MAINTAIN HEALTHY FLORA OR WOULD ANTIBIOTICS KILL THE BACTERIA I HAVE NOW INSERTED FROM THE PROVACARE
ReplyDeleteHi Vanessa! Thanks for commenting. While I am not a doctor, based on my knowledge I would recommend trying Provacare. Thanks for telling me about this product, I had not heard of it before!
DeleteYes, I believe it's possible that Metronidazole could possibly kill ALL bacteria (even the good one) so for that reason, it's not the best option. Many women (including myself) have a reoccurrence of the bacteria shortly after anyway.
I will make a post about Provacare shortly to see if anyone else has tried it!

just found your blog! love it! From my understanding metronidazole targets anaerobic bacteria. The good bacteria are aerobic.
