Sex and Bacterial Vaginosis

I have bad news ladies. Sex is very bad for Bacterial Vaginosis. I always knew my BV would flare up after having sex, but this past time, it was extra bad. Fishy smell and all. I was SO embarrassed! It's extremely important to minimize the amount of unprotected sex you have as well as the amount of new partners.



PARTNERS
It's well known that having multiple sex partners can result in Bacterial Vaginosis (so much for feminism!). So try to stick to one guy and hopefully your vagina will be kind and get used to his penis without creating the BV infection.

PROTECTION
Many women claim that using a condom does not hinder their BV. In my experience, it certainly helps, but Bacterial Vaginosis does not like sex, period. So you can see if using a condom works for you, though I wouldn't bet on it.

EJACULATION
In general, because semen has a higher PH than your vagina, it's not a good idea for you man to cum inside you. His semen likely has a PH of around 7.5, making it a basic solution, which can likely trigger BV in your acidic vagina. His semen can even raise the PH of your vagina, meaning you may have to start all over again in getting your vagina to return to the acidic side.

ANAL SEX
This is the worst thing for Bacterial Vaginosis. I repeat, anal sex is the worst thing for Bacterial Vaginosis! If you have anal sex with your man, make sure he washes his penis before having vaginal sex. If he doesn't, you will have the worst BV episode of your life.

  2. Try eating fruits before you have sex. Do not eat anything sugary. Scoop out the B.V. with your index finger. While in the shower hour before sex wash under hands & nails then scoop it out until you see none. If you have no female issues such as pain or Cancer ( read the box) pour out the solution & fill it with water. Do that twice. Eat fruit after. Then have sex. Less odor. Eat salad that day clean out before eat fruits you can get oral! I

If you want to get rid of it, get oral anal sex several times day eat salad,fish,rice fruits,vegetables for snacks no junk food, take vitamin,drink water,juice,way less soda or none scoop out (flush if possible, read the box) flush with water douche bottle no solution before you go to bed then when you wake in the morning within six months you wake clean,fresh period, within year have sex when you want eat what you want again fresh & clean. Anal use anal bottle twice week warm water & soap. ( do not use soap in the vagina.) Clean with wash rag around the anal rim. Clean until you do not see feces on the rag. Wash hands & nails after. Clean anal sex within months. Use condoms if you cannot stop sex or give up forever being clean. Follow this close & you can be clean again. Better than before you got B.V. if you scoop or flush but do not eat fresh ( cut out bread, try Italian Sausage with Romaine lettuce instead of bread with cilantro in it. Beyond. Fresh.) It works! I even have People in the Porn Industry who thanked me for these methods. I hope you can get your life back. Peace!

  4. I forgot change your soap. That is very important. Dove sensitive skin soap works best. Soaps with perfumes etc cause the B.V. to react worse. After few months of cleaning you can use any body wash you want perfume wash but do not use it on your vagina. Keep soap for your vagina separate from body wash or perfumed soap use that on the rest of your body & you are complete. Fresh food, water less sugary drinks use condoms, or stop sex. It is worth the wait but forever clean again!

  5. Sex is bad for a flare up, but you can still enjoy sex, anal sex and your man ejaculating inside of you, you just have to take steps to keep a flare up from happening.

    I personally use a removable shower head to douche with water after sex every single time! And sometimes me and my partner have sex multiple times in a day. Also if you are going to have anal sex, you can use the shower head to douche up there as well and SHOULD, fecal matter does not belong in the vagina, and let's be real...no one is making their man go wash his prick before continuing on with there sexcapades! And frankly some of us girls like a little back and forth no? Surely I'm not the only one lol ;) After douching with water get a little soap up in there to make sure you are good and clean then scrub your hands too, do NOT use soap in your vagina, this will not help BV. I'm talking about your anus, always try to clean it before sex, honestly, my man would never say anything about the smell or sight of fecal matter on his prick, but if we can avoid it, we most definitely should!

    If you notice an infection coming on, treat it right away, you know your body and when it's out of sync, don't wait till the smell is rancid, there are signs as its coming on, most common for myself is an itchy vagina, slight smell and discharge color changes to a yellowish, as well as irritation and persistent itch between my thighs...I use 100% pure tea tree oil (very easy to find at a drugstore or health store) I actually found it was cheaper to buy the holistic lice kit that came with shampoo and the pure oil in a combo pack than just buying the straight oil, go figure! Anyway, I add about 25 drops to my bath water, and soak for 20 mins, I also drop a few drops on my fingers and insert some inside my vaginal walls, about 5 mins before I get out, I then rinse off with a shower and douche with the shower head so the oil isn't sitting in there too long. The drawback....Tea tree oil smells! But, it fades after a while and it smells a hell of a lot better than fishy vagina! And another added bonus, it's good for the skin, including acne and small cuts! If you have dry skin in general it relieves the itch especially in winter!


    If you find this is not helping, you can try other treatments in conjunction with this, such as folic acid supplements or eating dark green leafy veggies like romaine, Brussel sprouts, broccoli and it can also be found in smaller amounts in rice...you can also drink cranberry juice (low to zero sugar) or even better eat cranberries. And you can try to restore your bacterial imbalance with good bacteria found in PROBIOTIC yogurt, (personally I like activia) regular yogurt will not do the same thing, or if you don't fancy yogurt get a probiotic supplement, but be warned the good ones... they are expensive, and the cheap ones aren't gonna do much unfortunately.


    So there's all the advice I've got from my own experience, I still get an occasional flare up but they're minimal and under control for me, I hope this helps with yours. Good luck ladies!
