Does a Deficiency of Vitamin D cause Bacterial Vaginosis?

In a study released by the Journal of Nutrition, a group of women who had Bacterial Vaginosis were found to have a Vitamin D deficiency. While the study does not claim that this deficiency is a direct cause of BV, it does establish a possible link.

Vitamin D is essential for maintaining a healthy immune system and its most well-known source is the sun! However, be sure to limit your exposure to no more than 30 minutes, as too much sun can give you skin cancer. If you can't get out into the sun for a little bit every day, there are certain foods which are high in Vitamin D such as salmon, tuna, fortified milk, egg yolks, and certain cereals. I know I personally don't eat these foods every day, so I take a supplement instead.

Although I have been taking these vitamin D supplements for some time, but have not noticed a difference in my BV. Has anyone had luck with incorporating Vitamin D into their diet in order to fight BV or at least keep it away once it's been cured?

  2. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
